Ahead of its time!

This script was ahead of its time for its casting and for it's peek into complex sociopolitical events. The hidden underground channel of money from one faction to the other is deftly done. The chemistry between the leads is phenomenal. Thoroughly enjoyed the relationship between Louis Gossett, Jr. And the versatile Julie Carmen who never lets us in on her true identity until the end. Lots of well rounded supporting characters. It rang true, presenting the fictitious Coromaya as "every country" in Latin America in that era. Mr. Gossett's gravitas fits the role and it's great seeing him play a romantic lead. Much more than an action movie. Well done.
