Selvi falls in love with Chelladurai. She serves him food, takes his ring and wears it, follows him and loves him sincerely. Chelladurai is emotionally broken person. When Chelladurai comes to know that Selvi failed in exam. Chelladurai enquires Selvi that why she failed in the exam. Chelladurai also tells Selvi that if she studies well she can go to college and if interested can to job or can get married to a educated guy. But she tells that she is more interested in marrying him and she proposed him. Chelladurai declines Selvi's love as he doesn't have any love feelings on Selvi.
