Shush!

An advanced German plane has fallen into the hands of the British army. A boffin is working all night to discover the secrets of advanced Nazi technology. However, chatty fellows are talking a bit too freely at the local pub.

In the US, the slogan was "Loose Lips Sink Ships" and that's the message of this short propaganda film produced at Ealing Studios for the Ministry of Information and distributed by MGM. It's directed by the always reliable John Paddy Carstairs and it is a simple, but effective warning that the enemy is always listening.... which was another slogan during the Second World War.

Ealing produced three of these films warning people to not talk. Apparently this was poorly received by its working-class audience because it slagged them.
