Having seen the first in the series, I was awed by the sensuality of the film. The second dipped, but the third is perfection.
Beautiful women (I don't even think a man ever appears) and great scenarios, all of it well shot, all amount to a fine piece of erotica. And I say erotica because it's in no way porn. There is no music, or it's mellow and indistinct. The camera work is clean and lingers on the facial expressions. And all the women are stunning, natural bodies, and the design choices are superb. Never do they wear anything outrageous, but always everyday stuff you'd find on that hot girl walking down the street.
To summarise the story, the hotel owner, Ella, a seemingly icy but beautiful and elegant brunette, along with her daughter, run a hotel in Hungary. Thankfully, and not just because it's a beautiful language, Viv Thomas decided not to have his actresses speak English, but in their native Hungarian tongue, and it gives the acting a boost.
Following on from the first in the series, when Ella seduced her daughter's friend, Viv Thomas stalwart Jo; and then in the second when as a payback the daughter seduced the step mother of Jo; this one sees a whole manner of lesbian bed hopping, ultimately ending up with Jo returning to Ella, who pines for the young blonde. The last scene is touching and highly charged, with no annoying music or strong lighting, just an old and young woman making love on the bed.
The scenes leading up to the climax are also of a high standard. The opener, as Ella seduces the teen daughter of a visiting family in the jacuzzi is priceless - my personal favourite. Then we have two maids having a secret liaison in a room, the return of Peaches, Ella's daughter showing a prospective client around, before the two strip off each other's business suits in one of the rooms, and not only Ella with her girlfriend, but Ella's daughter fooling her into a blindfolded tryst too.
It ranks among one of my favourite films of all time. As a genre, I believe it is one of the best in Lesbian Erotica.
