The two discs contain five one-hour programs, plus some extra material.
Programs are as follows:
* Life in the sea, along with life's likely origins
* Life on land, several separate moves
* Life in the air - again, it happened more than once
* Animal relationships, predators and parasites and cooperators
* Human life - how we evolved and why chimps can't tie a shoelace.
Each is done nicely, starting with living creatures and then showing graphics of how they may have developed.
The same areas have been covered before, but this has more up-to-date knowledge and a presenter who is less pompous than the normal sort.
