- Sergeant Tak (Anthony Wong) must track down a serial killer whose victims are starved, mutilated, and killed, and weighing exactly 70 pounds. The victims have an unexplainable link to a TV show which runs a beauty contest called "Slim Queen", where they appear as contestants. The plot thickens as Sergeant Tak and his wife, Ling, an ex-detective herself, race to find the murderer before more contestants end up dead.—Anonymous
- The film begins behind the scenes of a televised beauty contest. The contest awards money and prizes to the slimmest model and the world behind the scenes is shown to be a mass of egos and ruthless psychology. Sometime after the contest, a young nubile model is found murdered with a butcher label on her head with "70 lbs" inscribed on it. It is only the beginning of the list of victims all of whom include beautiful models. More models turn up murdered after being starved and then having body part amputated until the weight equals 70 pounds. When Wong (Anthony Wong) takes the case he has other things on his mind like the personal relationship he has with Cherrie (Cherrie Yin). Their marriage is frustrating to him because he seeks some physical release whereas she experiences a cold steak. As Wong gets closer to the models as a way to understand more of the murders motives and possibly apprehend the criminal, Cherrie snoops around discovers some things from a womans perspective that help Wong. At one point they both chase down the perp. But the murderer takes a few more victims before Cherrie almost becomes a victim in the criminals lair and Wong gets involved in a shattering confrontation.
