As with many well made low-budget independent films, this movie was made for the art and for the message without the desire for flashy effects or unbelievable story lines that have become too prevalent in todays Hollywood. I felt that the main characters had a chemistry that made me feel they were married. Their performances nor the writing carried any type of over the top movie pretension making them seem as your average couple going through a less than common personal struggle. The story telling kept me interested and I was brought in by the message portrayed and it really made me think about the things that are happening on our planet due to our actions and what we are doing to ourselves. I really enjoyed watching this movie just for the fact that I could, and did, enjoy it because of the movie itself and not because there was music or effects to manipulate the mood I felt.
