In a remote, windswept valley somewhere in the rugged landscapes of Iceland, the solitary elderly couple of Hrafn and Gróa begins to realise that the forthcoming winter should rather be dealt with in the safety of a retirement home. With this in mind, Hrafn reluctantly accepts to follow his caring daughter's advice to return to the city. Indeed, this is a big leap in the couple's life, and before relocating, there are so many things to do and so little time. Still, Hrafn's urge to work in such feverish haste remains unknown. Maybe he knows something his daughter doesn't.
