A stirring picture of two reels illustrating military life on the frontier, supposedly in the year 1875. The plot embraces a love affair concerning two soldiers, one a corporal and the other a sergeant who are in love with another sergeant's daughter. A very realistic explosion scene is well accomplished. It is exciting and holds the interest in most of the scenes, and is well acted. - The Moving Picture World, March 28, 1914
