True Malaysian story
asiangirl9324 November 2005
This movie does reflect how teenagers in Malaysia are right now in the year 2005. Don't tell me you don't use English slang when you're talking to your friend, fellow Malaysian teenagers out there.

As for the story, it's quite normal but it's funny at the same time. I loved how they maked the movie seemed so laid back.It is definitely a better flick than all the other stupid Malaysian movies. Not saying it's my favourite (that would be P.Ramlee movies) But is a better flick than the other romantic Malaysian films.

The actors were all very good. Sharifah Amani ROCKS! I loved how Sazzy Falaq acted her character as the deadly "Ratu Futsal" Shasha. She was, like a total b****h at the beginning but became a great friend in the end. Ashraff Sinclair's performance was quite good, he is cute tough! All and all, the movie is good and I will recommend it to teenagers who are bored out of their wits during the school holidays. Be Original, see original. Oh, come on, they're not expensive -lah! Malaysian movies DVD or Cd are not expensive.

an OK movie

i had 2 reasons when i decided to watch this movie 1) Ashraf Sinclair was in it and 2) there was no better movie that i wish to watch at the time. turns out it's worth the money i paid for the ticket. while i can't really take the characters seriously, the plot of the movie is pretty cool - a typical pretty, rich, snobbish girl trying to embrace futsal as her hobby to win his man back. (a'la legally blonde if you ask me). forget logic and realness if you will, she nailed it, but fell in love with some other guy whose character speaks not more than 10 minutes altogether instead. all in all, it's enjoyable and fun to watch.

Definitely not a BAD movie

It's a good chick-flick movie picturing trending sports and social lives of youths at the time of the year the movie was released. Although it has plot similarity to Legally Blonde, women-liberating chick-flick movie theme was definitely at it's peak back then, not to mention the selected actresses from among influential women who were at the peak of their careers. So, if you're a fan of the Legally Blonde movie franchise as well as 3R and various 2000s reality programmes, this is definitely a movie for you!

low budget and low quality

Warning: Spoilers
So far this is the worst Malay movie I've ever seen. The dialog is too fast and sometimes it is impossible to capture. The style of this movie is adapted from American-teenage movie dated back in early 80s. No improvement at all in term of plot, storyline and acting quality. The theme of this movie is absolutely dull. Definitely the directors fail to meet what audience need when they watch this movie. I cannot categorize the genre of this movie whether it is drama, comedy or just a plain story of teenage desire. Hardly to believe a 17 year old girl can master in playing soccer within 8 month and be famous of it. Some scenes are confusing such as a Jijie's father is prohibited from visiting his daughter by policemen. For those Malay who is not satisfy with my comment can personal email to me. My email add is my user id in IMDb followed by @yahoo.com
