"Thomas Ellis, on the eve of his wedding, in a very nervous state is pacing the street two hours before the ceremony, when he bumps into a nurse girl carrying a child; the girl falling, sprains her ankle. The man finds he not only has a baby, but a girl on hand and relieves himself of the [latter] by calling an ambulance. In his effort to dispose of the baby, however, he becomes the object of suspicion and is run into the police station.
