This film was made as part of the 48 Hour Film Project (www.48hourfilm.com). Each participating team is given just 48 hours to write, shoot and edit a short film between 4 and 7 minutes long. Each team's genre is drawn from a hat just before the official starting time, and all teams were required to include a bunch of bananas as a prop and a character named B. Spicer - Addiction Counselor. Also, somewhere in the film a character was required to say the line, "Put up or shut up!" These requirements were given at the last moment to help insure that teams adhered to the 48 hour rule - no work can start before the official time.
Tim Hodge expanded this story idea into a one-hour TV series pilot script, which was a finalist in the 2008 Cinema City International Film Festival.
This film was entirely created in less than 48 hours.
Competed in Nashville's 48-Hour Film Project the same year as False Security (2008), Bonnaroomate (2008), Whispers (2008), Boxed Lunch (2008), Leaps and Bounds (2008), and Big Bad Wolf Never Cry Wolf (2008).
