Plot Summary

An audience favorite at festivals worldwide, The Speed of Life is about a NYC kid who steals video cameras from tourists. He and his friends skip school, camp on rooftops, and dream of being in the Olympics. But they must also deal with grown ups. Wavering between fantasy and the harsh reality of NYC, they soon discover not all tourists are happy and cameras can indeed fly. Even if people cannot.
