The Lawyer dislikes children, but has a hard time keeping away from them. In fact, a baby is given to him and he cannot get rid of it. There is an amusing idea in this, but the film as a whole seemed to carry no particular point and does not present a very well rounded story. - The Moving Picture World, December 27, 1913
