" The more things I know, the less I know about myself "
thinker169112 May 2010
In the annals of Hollywood, better yet, among, the images which flicker on our T.V. screens, you will find a most notable name in the F.B.I. files. That name is one 'Fox Mulder.' Taken in context, with his nom de plume is also, David Duchovny. Since his departure from the X-Files, he has taken to writing, directing and even staring in his own movies. This particular offering is called " The House of D. " In viewing this offering, audiences will see his craft is not without merit. In his own behalf, it's his early years growing up in New York. There, like many other youths, he experienced both tragedy and triumph. The memories of his boyhood are laced with awkward moments, dealing with boy meet girl romance, childhood pranks and personal friends. Robin Williams and Anton Yelchin appear to lend their performances and create an intimate portrait of his school years and the later memories as an adult. A sympathetic view, of his neighborhood, his ambitions and the heartfelt love for his mother which shaped his future. Honest and forthright, one can ask for nothing less. ***
