This 77 Sunset Strip story takes Stu Bailey on a shuttle back and forth from
Los Angeles to a dude ranch that's a playground for the rich. One of those rich
who is Diane Brewster is found hanging from the barn rafters and at first it's
declared a suicide.
That is not satisfactory to Brewster who hires Efrem Zimbalist and sure enough
Zimbalist turns up murder on further examination. And there's a ranch full of
suspects including owner Reginald Gardiner.
The motive for this crime is financial, but it's seen from a different perspective
from the point of view of the culprit. That's all I'll say.
Nice performance by Brewster as a most amoral and promiscuous wife.
