When Malloy and Reed bring the missing boy back to his mother, they park in front of the neighbor's house. When they leave, their car is now parked in front of the family's home, and the cars that were parked behind it are now different as well.
Adam-12 pulls over the yellow car in front of the house at 10717 Collins Street. In a previous scene, they make a U-turn at the same intersection to follow the car on Cartwright Avenue, with the house on the corner being filmed twice, but from different angles.
Early on, the microphone cord is hanging down in front of the radio. Later, the cord is wrapped around the back of the radio.
The little boy and his father are riding in the back seat of the squad car and manage to get out of the car on their own. Police vehicles are set up so the inside handles in the back seat won't open the doors. This is done so prisoners in the back seat can't easily escape from the car. Usually, the police have to open the door to allow anyone in the backseat to get out.
When the couple is arguing after the TV is thrown, the door is slammed and the whole wall moves a couple of inches. A real building wouldn't move like this.
At the train park, Malloy is able to shoot one the suspects. With no other officers, Malloy and Reed then chase after the remaining suspect. Despite the first one being shot, it is unlikely that one of Malloy or Reed would not have attended to the shot suspect to ensure he did not escape instead of both chasing the second suspect.
Professor Mark calls the police but then refuses to press any charges.
It's not clear why he called police.
