During a diplomatic engagement, Queen Guinevere is gifted a fabulous, priceless jewel by The Rajah of Kaipur. Soon after it is in her possession, the prized emerald is stolen.
It's a somewhat more grand looking episode, a good chunk of the budget has clearly gone on this one, the market scenes and costumes actually look pretty good, it's one of the better looking episodes so far.
Even the music is a little better, a bit more dramatic. It generally feels much better produced than the earlier episodes.
The story on the other hand, well it's not a classic, it's a little bit flat, a bit dull, I can't imagine anyone thinking of this one when asked what their favourite episode is. Overall though, it's still pretty watchable.
It's a bit more diverse looking, a real fusion of cultures, it looks pretty good.
7/10.
