Arthur receives an invite to take part in a tournament in Ireland, Sir Lancelot and Brian deputise for him,
What a cracking way to end the series, this must rank as one of the show's better episodes, it's a good mix of fun, drama and humour.
It's taken quite a few episodes, but this time round they really did manage to nail the action sequences, they look pretty authentic and realistic here, it made a nice change.
I think the show improved as it went on, some of the stories got better, the production definitely improved, but I think by this point it had perhaps run its course, I'm not sure they could have come up with any more ideas.
Jerome Willis and Tony Quinn were pretty good, Lynne Furlong was amusing as the short tempered and fiery Princess Kathleen.
Really did enjoy this final episode. It wouldn't be long before William Russell became known to millions playing Ian Chesterton on Doctor Who.
8/10.
