As regards the intro recap stating that Katie's overt sexuality counted against her: I have, like, watched episode 2 umpteen times and Katie is a quiet little lady, usually in the background just gazing at the sparring antagonists. She quietly revealed during an interview she had posed for Playboy and Mizzz Tyra got pd off and vetoed her out. Mizzz Tyra doesn't go for pin-up displays, makes a mockery of that, yet during her Stuff photoshoot gave an overt cleavage display while standing there a wide-legged statue. Watch episode 2 again, around that insert see vivacious Nicole and vivacious Shannon showing how it should look. Mizzz Tyra bends the rules as she sees fit.
Re Nicole. She paid $1500 for a look that was worth every cent and they damn well cut it off. She looks great but you have to get used to it. Her original look was an exact fit. Sacrilege to have altered that.
Robin was hilarious in this outing. She's not one of my favorites, so... Anyway, her new look suits her. Describing herself as now looking like "an albino prostitute" had me laughing. Unfortunately the system doesn't allow me to put up quotes for any other contestant than Adrianne this time. What's up with that?
Addendum, 2021/12/27. I am rationing my supply of watching this, as I only have Cycle 1. So only finished watching episode today. Whole time since knew who would be the one to fall out. It is patently obvious that Tyra Banks makes racist choices. I mean, you can spot it a mile off. Kesse was vivacious pulling out of the starting blocks in episode 1 but quickly proved herself to be drab. Shaman Ebony throwing a tantrum about a few hairs cut off that would take five days to grow back... Come on! Tyra took a delight in shooting down Nicole, it was like, take that, Pamela Anderson! Nicole could not possibly possibly possibly fall out against Ebony. Nicole has selling power. Ebony has none. Sorry. Yes, I am a South African. I'm just telling it like it is.
