- TriviaRobert Emhardt, who plays Mr. Foster, also played Malcolm Tucker, a businessman stranded in Mayberry by car trouble, in the 1963 episode, "Man in a Hurry." He drove the same Lincoln Continental in both episodes. Not correct- the second appearance he drives 1966 Lincoln
- GoofsBee asks the director if they wouldn't "hit the sticks" just as she is about to deliver her pitch. As a complete novice in the business, who didn't know what "get the show on the road" meant, she would not know that the slate is referred to as the "sticks" or a "clapper."

Barney Bit!
Aunt Bee takes on the role of Barney Fife. She has a chance to do a TV commercial but can't get off the mark while thinking she is doing great. This is the kind of mishandling of opportunity that Mr. Fife would have screwed up. For about the fourth time in the series Andy plays to Bee's fears of being replaced at home.
