A classic quote from this episode...

I love Becker and I feel for Bob.... who never gets the girl. Becker seems curmudgeonly (sp?) beyond measure -- after all he's a doctor, he's tall, he's handsome, he gets plenty of attention from women, and of course he gets to get away with being an dumb ass --- why, is another question. Maybe because he's a doctor, tall, handsome? Or is it because he expresses the irritability that everyone feels but suppresses..?

Whatever the case may be, below you'll find one of my favorite lines from the series, just because well, we all know what it is to deal with people who float through life causing pain and taking zero responsibility for it.....

Becker's finest hour --

Sondra Rush (Becker's ex): Sure, I was unfaithful, deceitful, and even destructive. But I got over it. Why can't you?

Becker (pauses, then says): Well, Sondra, I guess I'm just not as good a person as you. (Exit)

This is an episode of 'Becker' that for me doesn't quite live up to the potential of its premise.

Perhaps because she is mentioned so often I had an idea of what Becker's ex-wife would be like, and how she comes across here doesn't match that.

I thought it was still an episode with some nice moments, and it was certainly good to see the normally high and mighty Doctor Becker brought to his knees by someone for a change, but it didn't quite click for me as an episode.

Even a below par episode of 'Becker' is still an awful lot better than other modern sitcoms at their best though, so it still gets a decent rating in my book.
