• Customer : [reading Reggie's note out loud]  When I woke up this morning I realized that going to bed with you was the best thing I've ever done.

  Dr. John Becker : This is kind of embarrassing... Go on.

  Customer : [reading]  It made me see just how desperate I really was. I mean, sleeping with you? My God, how much worse could my life get?

  [looks up at Becker] 

  Customer : I'm guessing she didn't know there'd be all these people around when I read this.

  Dr. John Becker : Just... just go on...

  Customer : [reading]  I knew if I didn't leave today, I'd be here forever. I miss everyone, but I need to do this. Tell them all goodbye.

  [takes his glasses off and sets the note down on the table] 

  Dr. John Becker : So she's gone?

  Customer : Yes.

  Dr. John Becker : That's... that's all she said?

  Customer : Yes.

  Dr. John Becker : So that's it?

  Customer : Well... this is a little awkward, but...

  [looks around, then leans down and kisses Becker on the cheek] 

  Dr. John Becker : Oh, uh... Reggie told you to do that, did she?

  Customer : No. I just felt it.
