At one point Granny says, "I ain't a-scared of no ghost." Though this later became the famous catchphrase for "Ghostbusters," it's obviously a coincidence.
When the group was at the airport in London getting ready to fly back to Los Angeles Jane (Nancy Culp) tells Mr. Drysdale (Raymond Bailey) the flight is "only" 6,000 miles. The direct distance between the two cities is a little over 5,400 miles.
Might well have helped inspire "Ghostbusters," as Granny decides to go into ghost chasing. Also, the final scene, of a sheikh and a veiled woman, may have planted the seed for a later SNL sketch "The Bel-Airabs" that premiered in the 1979-80 season.
