A policeman identifies the park with the fountain as the "Westbridge Avenue Park". The same park is seen multiple times in Bewitched, as well as other Screen Gems sitcoms such as I Dream of Jeannie (1965). The park is located in the center of Blondie Street, a large, faux neighborhood filled with fake residential homes, located at what was the Columbia Studio Ranch in Burbank. The park is right across the street from the Bewitched home and all of the other homes, which semi-encircle the park.
Samantha tells Darrin that her birthday is June 6.
The title is from the 1823 novel "Molly Bawn" by Margaret Wolfe Hungerford, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Also used as a series script title for seven television series (1960-2008) including a very popular The Twilight Zone show.
The Opening Shot shows an Antique Shop where Darrin and Samantha browse, then Samantha and Endora
berating the proprietor who is less than honest if not knowledgeable.
To those who have watched Hazel (1961), this Antique shop was about the same as it was in this episode. Heat Wave (1962) has "Hazel" wheeling and dealing in and out the "Merryweather Antiques" Shop. The generic 'Antique' Shop on "Blondie Street", on the "Columbia Ranch" property has been a fixture on TV Shows without viewer awareness.
The Antique Shop on the "Columbia Ranch" is the same though the show and the time had changed in three years.
