Good script makes for a funny episode

Warning: Spoilers
This was one of the more memorable episodes of "Bewitched" that I saw when it first aired in the late 1960s on TV. Samantha becomes inflicted with an illness that causes her to speak in rhymes. She cannot help but end each spoken sentence with a word rhyme even when that word is nonsense. There has to be two call outs for help from Doctor Bombay (he misdiagnoses her malady) who always appear to be interrupted doing some kind of sporting activity. It gets a bit hectic when Larry forces a client visit with Darrin and Samantha and her rhymes begin to annoy the dinner party members. Tabitha has a lengthy appearance in this episode and even gets a chance to crack a joke at her mother.

One of Bewitched's best

Warning: Spoilers
This is one of my very favorite episodes. Sam begins speaking exclusively in rhyming couplets (with one limerick thrown in) and tries to hide it to no avail. This episode has what makes the best episodes of Bewitched great: brilliant dialogue and excellent performances. While Sam's condition is peculiar to witches, witchcraft does not drive the story. It also has some of the tenderest moments between Endora and Darrin (except the last scene). This episode will make you smile as wide as a mile.
