This episode concerns young Jan-Michael Vincent working at the Ponderosa, working there because Dan Blocker shot his father while Hoss was part of a posse
in pursuit of him. Vincent's feelings grow more mixed as the episode goes on.
Still though he's part of a plot that Jim Davis has schemed up to cheat the
Cartwrights out of some horses newly broken.
Some of the character motivations didn't make a whole lot of sense. Still Blocker, Vincent, and Davis do well in their characterizations. Fans of all should like this Bonanza story.
