Doesn't know beans
bkoganbing5 December 2019
English couple Daniel Massey and Jill Haworth guest star on this Bonanza story. Massey and the pregnant Haworth have moved into a neighboring ranch which is now been taken over by British bankers and Massey represents said bank.

He also doesn't know beans about the cattle business. Even young Mitch Vogel knows more than Massey.

The place has also been systematically stripped of its livestock in the two years since the old owner died. I will say that the ones robbing the place blind had one sweet racket going.

Massey and Haworth were a fine pair of guest stars in this enjoyable episode.

Very enjoyable, and the English portrayed in a good light, with just a little teasing.

Mistake: The Reluctant American,Bonanza
bernadette5721 May 2006
I'm writing you for telling you that you made a mistake about the actor who plays with the Cartwrights in Bonanza in the episode:The Reluctant American". You are saying that is Richard Long, the main character of the Big Valley. Unfortunately I have to tell you that Richard Long didn't play in the episode of Bonanza, called"The Reluctant American"The actor who plays is : Daniel Massey. Peter Breck is the only actor from The Big Valley who played in Bonanza. He played in the episode called :The Cheating Game with Pernell Roberts, one of the main characters in Bonanza, the unforgettable Adam Cartwright played in two episodes of The Big Valley too: Cages of Eagles and Run of the cat.In both episodes,Peter Breck is the main character. Thank you very much for letting me to send you a comment. Anyway you have a very good and interesting information about whatever about the cinema and television that it helps us so much. Congratulations Get on with Thank you very much Bernadette
