Storyline
Plot Summary |
Angel's night of fleshly passion with Buffy has transformed him again into the vampire Angelus, without a soul, who teams up with Spike, Drusilla and the assembled demon Judge. Willow is shocked to see Xander kiss Cordelia and turns to fellow nerd Oz. Just sensing Angel doesn't truly love her back devastates Buffy. Seeing him turned vampire again reduces her to useless tearfulness. She then makes Giles's lady-friend Janna 'Jenny' Calendar, who clearly knew something, tell about Angel's soul-curse, while Angel kills her gypsy Uncle Enyos. Meanwhile, Xander works rather literally on the line 'it took a army' to defeat the Judge. Written by KGF Vissers |

Did You Know?
Trivia | Sometimes Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997) writers include in-jokes in their scripts. The shooting script contained the following direction: "A couple of soldiers pass. Xander suavely nods to them. They nod back and pass without comment, because they are extras." When Xander and Cordelia make out, the directions were: "They haben der big smoochen." See more » |
Goofs | As the Judge is zapping his first victim on the stairs at the mall, the entire background scene of the mall below is frozen. This is especially noticeable in the case of a stooped-over man visible past the Judge's left elbow. See more » |

Quotes |
Rupert Giles:
It's not over. I-I suppose you know that... He'll come after you... particularly. His profile, uh, well, he... he's likely to strike out at the things that made him the most human. Buffy Summers: You must be so disappointed in me. Rupert Giles: No. No. No, I'm not. Buffy Summers: This is all my fault. Rupert Giles: No. I don't believe it is. Do you want me to wag my finger at you and tell you that you acted rashly? You did, and I can... I know that you loved him. And he... has proven more than once that he loved you. You couldn't have known what would happen... The coming months a-are gonna- are gonna be hard... I-I suspect on all of us. But... if it's guilt you're looking for, Buffy, I'm-I'm not your man. All you will get from me is, is my support... and my respect. See more » |
