The premise is exciting (torrential rains threaten a dam break that will wash away the railroad tracks and the way station). But the story begins to drag as Casey and the crew wait for the local families to make it to the train. It's just not as suspenseful as the directors hoped to make it. And, the "special effects" are cheesy and 1950-ish.
Even so, this is a good, watchable episode of Casey Jones.
