Review of First Season (8 episodes)

Warning: Spoilers
I found this series on Acorn, but looks like just season one is available. I gave it a try and was interested in some of the characters, so watched the first eight episodes.

Some observations: the clinic was no place to work if you had any secrets. No one there could keep anything to themselves, including who was sleeping with who, who had a daughter she didn't mention, who was under investigation by the medical board, what patients were there for, and other things. Geesh -- and this was probably before Social Media.

I thought the clinic setup was chaotic at best, and the receptionists (Daisey and Polly) were so immature and childish that it was hard to believe they would have been kept on.

There was much soap opera style drama going on, and most of that was front and center, not like "An Irish ER" as it was promised. Only rarely did medical issues get shown.

Can't comment on later series, though. But it was ok to fill some time having dinner in front of the TV.
