There is a lot of wet mud under the blown out tire, making it difficult to change the tire. When Shay gets trapped, and Saunders finishes changing the tire, the mud is gone.
When Saunders shoots the second German behind the tank, the German drops his rifle. He's able to grab the radio handset to talk to the Germans inside the tank, but his rifle has disappeared.
During the introduction, stock footage is shown that is supposed to represent a tank battle between American and German forces in 1944. Some of the stock footage depicts German, French, and British tanks from 1939-1940.
The German tank crewmen are shown wearing berets ("Schutzmutze"). These were discontinued in 1941 and replaced with a different type of cap.
When Saunders puts the fuel can on the tank, the sound of an empty container is heard. Yet when Saunders shoots the can, fuel shoots out near the top, middle and bottom of the can.
Most of the German dialog is out of sync. It probably had to be re-dubbed because of the noise from the tank.
The driver and Sgt Saunders are both smoking cigarettes. However, the truck they're in is carrying a cargo of ammunition and gasoline, so smoking would be a pretty foolish thing for them to do.
When Shay asks Saunders if he knows the password, Saunders say, "Do you?" Shay answers with the password and Saunders chuckles and tells Shay he's right. Then he climbs into the truck. Saunders should have chewed him out for revealing the password.
When the commander tell the other German to open the hatch and go out to confront Saunders, the German doesn't take his pistol out of his uniform jacket until he is far enough out of the tank for Saunders to shoot him.
