Sharing is caring

Mrs. Livingston has made Tom think that he has given too much to Eddie. Even though he doesn't act spoiled the only one he has to give back to is his dad who "pours it back on him". Norman disagrees but is working on a story of impoverished Indian children on a local reservation. He says, "you're complaining that Eddie has no chance to give; these kids have no chance to get." Tom brings home a young Apache boy named Bobby Brownbear (Lee Jo Casey) for a visit. Eddie is receptive but sees Bobby break one of his toys and later be consoled by his dad after a nightmare. He gets special treatment ahead of Eddie now. Eddie becomes jealous and confused. He turn to Norman who reassures him of his father's affection for him. Tom finally realizes the position he has put Eddie in and tries to reconcile things between everyone and still impart the meaning of sharing.
