Crown Court at Christmas!
didi-522 July 2009
This episode really is a lot of fun, with a traditional country house murder mystery presented in the court. The regular cast let their hair down (especially the priceless William Mervyn as the judge), while guest stars join in the fun, from Liz Fraser and Tony Doyle, to John Le Mesurier's sniffy and vague 'gentleman's personal gentleman'.

What the outcome is doesn't really matter - Murder Most Foul is a hammy festive edition of a great show and really is enjoyable. With empty rooms, dotty servants, family secrets, financial jealousies, and 'clues' aplenty, this courtroom drama will set you up with lots of festive spirit.
