In 2016, the BBC released an animated version of the episode via its BBC Store online service. This version of the episode used the original 1969 audio, with new hand-drawn animation synced to the sound.
There is currently no known copy of this edition in existence, although the off-air soundtrack was discovered in the unknowing possession of a private collector in 2008.

This is the first episode in which Edward Sinclair plays the verger, Mr. Yeatman. He had previously appeared in the series as the caretaker.
This is the last episode in which Mainwaring addresses the platoon as "chaps". He subsequently uses the term "men" because writers Jimmy Perry and 'David Croft' thought it would be less democratic and therefore more in keeping with the character.
