- J.R. Ewing: [putting on tie] Say, Marilee...
- Marilee Stone: You're leaving?
- J.R. Ewing: Yeah. I gotta get back to the office.
- [the tie is ripped]
- J.R. Ewing: Say, you wouldn't happen to have a tie around here, would you?
- Marilee Stone: Did I do that?
- J.R. Ewing: [chuckles] Yeah, afraid you did.
- Marilee Stone: Some of Seth's clothes are still in the closet.
- Muriel Gillis: It's no good if you keep it bottled up inside.
- Lucy Ewing Cooper: I know.
- [very upset]
- Lucy Ewing Cooper: Muriel... Roger raped me.
- Sharon: Ewing? I've heard that name.
- Bobby Ewing: Kristin Shepard was my sister-in-law.
- Sharon: Kristin, oh, I heard about what happened to her. A friend of mine send me clippings from the Dallas paper. I knew that guy would get her into trouble.
- Pamela Barnes Ewing: What guy?
- Sharon: The creep she was living with. What a con artist.
- Bobby Ewing: Do you remember his name?
- Sharon: Sure. Jeff Farraday.
- Pamela Barnes Ewing: Did you spend a lot of time with Kristin?
- Sharon: We did when she first moved in here. Things changed once she and Farraday got married.
- Bobby Ewing: She married Jeff Farraday?
- Sharon: Yeah. I stood up for her. It was just downtown at the license bureau. Not much of a wedding.
- Bobby Ewing: When was that?
- Sharon: I'm not very good with dates. Sometime last March. It was right after she knew she was pregnant.
- [Bobby now knows everything he needs to know]
- Bobby Ewing: [re the similar blood types of J.R. and Jeff] Pam, that is such a coincidence. That's why I thought J.R. was the father, but now there's no doubt. Farraday fathered Christopher.
- Pamela Barnes Ewing: I still can't believe that he sold his own baby.
- Bobby Ewing: Farraday was a cheap hustler. But what does that make J.R.? He thought that Christopher was his son, and yet he was perfectly content to sit back, pretend to be Uncle J.R... . as long as I voted my twenty shares of Ewing Oil his way.
- [angrily:]
- Bobby Ewing: Now what kind of a man does that?
- Pamela Barnes Ewing: Well, we all know what J.R. is.
- Bobby Ewing: Yeah, but I hoped that deep down inside, when it came to children, he'd have some human feelings, a spark of decency!
- Pamela Barnes Ewing: Bobby, stop worrying about J.R. We've got Christopher, that's really all that matters.
- Bobby Ewing: I can't stop. My own brother tried to blackmail me! If I have my way, when we get back to Dallas, I'm gonna vote to throw him out of Ewing Oil! But not until I take him apart.
