Charlene Tilton: Lucy Ewing
Quotes
-
J.R. Ewing : How about your brother-in-law Cliff? Are you gonna cut him in for half of that Wilson deal?
Bobby Ewing : What are you talking about?
J.R. Ewing : Oh, Barnes was shopping at fire sales before you opened up Ewing 23 and handed him all that money.
Pamela Barnes Ewing : It was a legal agreement, J.R. That money is rightfully Cliff's.
Jock Ewing : You know, J.R., I've been thinking about Ewing 23. Even with Barnes, It's gonna be a good deal. It"s a good source of crude oil for that new refinery of ours. What could be better?
J.R. Ewing : Well, if I was still in charge, he wouldn't get a dime.
Pamela Barnes Ewing : Maybe It's best for Ewing Oil that you're not still in charge.
J.R. Ewing : What's that supposed to mean?
Pamela Barnes Ewing : Well, Cliff's involved with someone who could cause you a lot of trouble.
J.R. Ewing : Oh? Who?
Pamela Barnes Ewing : [rather backs out of this] Never mind.
J.R. Ewing : Come on now. You've piqued our interest. Don't draw back now.
Pamela Barnes Ewing : [victoriously] Donna Culver.
[adding in snide way:]
Pamela Barnes Ewing : She doesn't think very much of you.
J.R. Ewing : Cliff and Donna, and all that Culver money?
[Sue Ellen takes swig from her drink]
J.R. Ewing : Well, will wonders never cease?
[chuckles]
J.R. Ewing : Golly.
Lucy Ewing : Well, are they just working together, Pam?
Pamela Barnes Ewing : No, Lucy. It's more than that.
