Dennis has a Cub Scouts circus costume show. Dennis is a trainer. And Mr. Wilson is the lion. It's plenty of fun. Poor George has to ward off the threat of embarrassment. And his rival at the newspaper wants to embarras him. The lion head must be secure. Dennis has to help. He knows the secrets. Mr. And Mrs. Mitchell get in on the fun. There's always a camera man ready on this show. George is a good sport. He takes it all in stride especially if the joke isn't on him only. Joseph Kearns proves adept at physical comedy. There's plenty of laughs to go around. And this third season came off remarkably well.

The Cub Scouts are putting on a circus, Dennis is to be the lion tamer.
A funny Season 3 episode. There is a subplot of Mr. Krinkey, the editor of the newspaper doing a story on Mr. Wilson. Krinkey is trying to uncover skeletons in Wilson's closet. When one of the boys cannot be in the lion costume, Dennis looks for Wilson to fill it for him. Dennis also finds out Wilson was once a flagpole sitter. Wilson agrees to be the lion if Dennis will not tell anyone his secrets.
We see the acts in the circus, one is two boys in a dancing giraffe costume in the funniest scene. This also sets up the final laugh for a surprise ending.
