On "Green Acres", Alvy Moore played an affable but incredibly dumb and ineffective agricultural agent. However, during the course of "The Case of the Pillow", he acts just like Mr. Haney...the huckster.
Most of the episode occurs in a small claims courtroom. Rob is there because he's suing the man (Moore) who sold Laura some down pillows. Why? Because they aren't what he claimed they were...they are faux down pillows.
This episode you'll either love or you'll hate...or, like me, you are somewhere in between. Why? Because Dick Van Dyke WAY overacts and no one...no one on this planet behaves the annoying way he did in the episode. It's so irritating that I could imagine the judge throwing out Rob's case because of the way he behaves. It really should have been much more subtle...MUCH. It's still worth watching...just be forewarned.
By the way, if you do watch, you'll notice feathers floating about well before Rob opens the bag with the pillow.
