David claims he was sent to the prisoner of war camp in Andersonville, Georgia. He was injured at Bull Run and became a captive shortly after. The Battle of Bull Run was in July 1861. The time line is wrong. The prison at Andersonville was constructed in 1864.
David/Andrew shows Dr. Quinn men who are building a dam. He says they are miners who want to build a dam to flood the valley. This does not make sense. Miners to not benefit by flooding a valley and wasting wood/ lumber. They need wood /lumber to support the walls and ceilings of the tunnels they dig. They do not benefit from causing water to rise. It could even flood their mining tunnels.
