This is a very mundane episode of "Dragnet" as nothing super-exciting takes place. In fact, the investigation is already complete once the show begins. Unlike normal police shows, this is about the trial and shows Detectives Friday and Gannon testifying. However, there's a serious glitch in the case--one of the key witnesses isn't there and they can't seem to locate him.
While this show lacks the excitement of other "Dragnets", it's worth seeing because it shows a side of court and police procedure you wouldn't see otherwise. Also, while I hated to see the judge's decision, it was necessary and according to the law. Like it or not, this is informative and worth seeing--even if it isn't as action-packed as you might like.
