When Friday goes with Det Beltran to the deceased woman's employer, in the very first shot (as the man's talking, and walking towards his desk), behind him (in the right side of the screen) is a supposed model of an airplane made by the company. In fact, it's a Mondo l mock-up of the aborted Boeing 2727; one of the 3 (and probably the best-known) contenders for the American SST. The project was halted in the late 1960's, asks sadly, very little of the models of this beautiful plane survive (you can even see the wing, which was noted for what was supposed to be a 'swing-wing'; the wings' outer panels would've reconfigured in-fight when the plane was to go supersonic. Whilst having such a wing would've theoretically made the 2727 far more advanced than Concorde, the mechanics proved impossible, and ultimately this was scrapped for the spender delta-shape, before the whole project was keboshed).
Second and final appearance of Luna Lauren Velez as Det. Beltran. Unlike in Redemption (2003), she appears with Ethan Embry. Her reappearance as Friday's partner was not explained. She's present for the fieldwork. Smith's only seen in the office. This was likely due to an injury Embry had experienced.
