Quotes

Josh Harris : [still getting dressed] Hi. It's a little later than I thought, I guess.
Sammy Jo Dean Carrington : [chuckles] It's one o'clock. Why are you still here?
Josh Harris : I overslept.
Sammy Jo Dean Carrington : [chuckles] Well, I've already been riding. I've taken care of things at the stables. Don't you have something to do? Like report to practice?
Josh Harris : There is no scrimmage today.
[they kiss]
Sammy Jo Dean Carrington : [chuckles] Well, I have a son that I have to pick up at school.
Josh Harris : I'll tell you what, I'll pick up Danny for you if you want.
[another kiss]
Sammy Jo Dean Carrington : [chuckles] No, no. Uh... Josh, what happened last night was wrong. Steven was away, and I was lonely. And I'm telling you now, it's never gonna happen again.
Josh Harris : Sammy Jo... I don't know what goes on in this house, but you have a great kid. And then there's Steven Carrington. The man who sleeps down the hall. Alone.
Sammy Jo Dean Carrington : I think it's time for you to leave.
[heads off]
Josh Harris : No.
[takes her by the shoulders, and turns her around]
Josh Harris : Not until I tell you I think I'm falling in love with you. I mean, really in love. What happened last night was not a casual thing for me.
Sammy Jo Dean Carrington : Steven's flying back tonight. I have to be here. I wanna be here. Please, just finish getting dressed, and leave. I mean it. I want you out of here by the time I get back with Danny.
-
Sammy Jo Dean Carrington : I was driving around and I just dropped by to say hello.
Josh Harris : Come on, Sammy Jo, there's more to it than that. You're here because you care about me. You do, don't you?
[he kisses her, and she returns the affection]
Sammy Jo Dean Carrington : No.
[breaks away]
Sammy Jo Dean Carrington : No. I'm confused. I don't know what I'm doing here.
Josh Harris : But you're here!
Sammy Jo Dean Carrington : I can't stay. I'm in a really weird mood. I can't stay.
[turns around, rushes towards door]
