so pretty, and she can act as well

Warning: Spoilers
Heather Locklear proves in this episode that she is not only one of the prettiest people on the planet at that time, but also that she can act. Check out the close-ups: thwarted hope, rejection, sadness, she is absolutely 100% great!

A thought while watching this (and especially while putting up the Quotes, check them out): While I do not feel sorry for Steven, (there is no need to pity him, he simply makes a choice to do what he'd rather prefer) I also don't think any less of him as a character. Steven is such a nice guy, and he conveys his needs to Sammy Jo so clearly and honestly that you can only have respect for the guy. This whole story arc, the doomed rekindling of the Sammy Jo & Steven relationship, is one of the most memorable sequences in the entire series. Jack Coleman, good show, but sure must be ludicrous to play that part, especially opposite a lightly clad icon of the Eighties. Heather Locklear, wonderful performance! Mind you, my little dear, you're more than enough to tune out any bugs and kinks.

About the rest of the episode, notice how everything happens in pairs. Danny and Krystina. And two horses too.

Oh, and how wrong I have been. I knew about the big upcoming crisis because of the blurb blabbing it all out on the back of the DVD box cover (a pox on such spoilers). At first thought it was gonna be Sammy Jo suspected of taking off with Danny, but all the time the culprit I thought would be that child psychologist who had designs on Steven. Then I figured the target would be Krystina, but I thought it was gonna be that nasty sour nurse. Ooh well, wrong again.
