Buffy And Jody's Mysterious New Friend
Jimmy_the_Gent43 November 2020
Buffy and Jody meet a new boy Johnny in the park, his mother does not think that he should play with them.

A very good episode with some mystery and suspense. Johnny is played by Radames Pera, who would soon have his best known role the next year as young Caine in "Kung Fu". The family soon find out that Johnny is hiding out in the US due to a military takeover in his country. Some surprise twists involving the mother as well.

Meeting And Getting To Know Radames Pera
kidajonni21 March 2022
I've been a fan of Radames since I was 6 years old in 1972. I used to call him "the cool kid on tv" when i was 7. As the years went on I've seen him in many tv shows in the 70s up until 1977. He quit acting in 1987 and started a business of his own for 27 years years. Since 1972 I wanted to meet Radames as I knew he was a very good actor even though at the time I didn't really understood and know his great talent.

In 2019 I managed to contact Radames and told him my story as he was grateful to know that I resonated him for his career and as an actor. In June 2019 my friend and I made a "Radames Pera Tribute" video that's now on Youtube under this title. Radames who now lives in France saw the video as I sent him the link to view it. He was touched. He mention to me that he was attending The Little House On The Prairie 45th Anniversary reunion in Walnut Grove in Minnesota in July 2019. In Little House he played the character John Jr for 3 seasons (1975 -77). I finally met him in person at this reunion as he was surprised to meet me. After the reunion I didn't speak to Radames much during the time of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

In October 2020 I was able to contact Radames and we now have several video chats through a website he's affiliated to. I'm very happy to know that he likes the chats we have and we talk about his career and personal stories. I can't believe that I was 6-7 years old and wanting to meet him and now I've gotten alot more than I ever expected. He now knows me personally and he is a very respectful, a gentle kind man. I couldn't ask for a better person to meet and was able to get to know him and how much he was such a great talented kid actor for his time in the 70s.

Radames believes I'm his top fan and he could be right. He in my book is the greatest child actor in the 1970s as his roles were mostly dramatic. Radames is currently writing his memiors for his new book that hopefully will be completed and soon find a publisher. I hope alot of Kung Fu and Little House fans appreciate Radames for his work as much as I do.
