The appearance of New Edition was clearly a time filler, but it was the basis for some additional insight into Steve and Laura's relationship (or was it just friendship?) There is a scene where Laura is being very nice to Steve, in the hopes of persuading him to get her tickets to a New Edition concert. Was this her only reason for being so nice to Steve? Open to interpretation. In the following scene, Laura gets a phone call from Stefan (now permanently separated from Steve). Stefan is out of the country on a modeling gig, and tells Laura that he can't get back to Chicago in time for the concert. This makes Laura unhappy, and she tells Stefan that she needs to reevaluate their relationship. Curious, especially since this development came directly after Laura was being "nice" to Steve. I titled my review "Steve and Laura" because that was the only aspect of the episode that resonated with me. Laura now had Stefan unconditionally available to her, but she was still thinking about someone else! I love it! Steve (not Stefan) and Laura just make me smile.

This episode is all dedicated to the New Edition's Home Again tour.

Steve can get tickets and both Laura and Eddie ask him for it.

Stefan first says he can't come, but Steve makes sure he does for Laura and he appears on stage.

And Carl and Harriet can't go because they are taking care of Richie and 3J so they make sure New Edition comes over to sing for them at home.

This episode is pretty much a waste of an episode. It is all about the band, and i don't even know them. They sure did sound good but I don't see the episode as being interesting for anyone who is not fan of them. It should be about Winslows and Urkel instead
