Waldo and Maxine

Pulling Teeth wasn't the best title for this episode. It refers to the secondary part of the story, which is kind of underwhelming. It was interesting to see how the relationship between Waldo and Maxine started, but the five-way phone conversation wasn't the best way to go. Up to this point in the series, Waldo and Maxine had been seen separately. It would have been more interesting to see the two of them just start talking to each other, and what developed from that. However, the format used here works well enough. We have the same likeable actors who always made their characters engaging. It was nice to hear Waldo and Maxine describe the "date" they had. They had only nice things to say about each other. Very touching! Not very much Steve-Laura content here, but still a pretty good episode.

Warning: Spoilers
This high amount of Richie stories worries me. stop it! He is not good, they are not funny! The one good thing about this story was of course Carl. he saves everything. His seal talk to Harriet and the demonstration of tooth pulling to Richie were a great part of the episode.

I loved the phone scene though. When at first everyone arranges a date between Maxine and Waldo it is very funny how it becomes a broke phone but leads to a great thing.

And it was awesome to hear how their date went, just like one would expect. So now we have one perfect couple here, lets see how it goes with them, I hope they will not be forgotten.
