"What are we doing here?" "Certainly not harmony!"

Warning: Spoilers
This is one of those episodes where two storylines appear in parallel with the same end result. First we have the Lieutenant trying to date Rachel and using Carl to get there. And Second we have (as we haven't seen in a long time) Steve trying to woo Laura, this time with an ID Bracelet. This is a very funny episode, no doubt about it, Waldo making the first appearance besides Eddie is a great addition, Steve thinking Laura was sending him a kiss when she was spitting gum, all great stuff. I felt that the episode could be a little more focused, however, we never get to see Carl's promotion being brought up again, and the Rachel date doesn't seem to have a clear ending. The best part of the episode is by far Steve and Lieutenant's duet of "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do", so funny, one of the funniest moments of the whole season actually, it's even more funnier since they aren't actually breaking up with anyone, because they were never in a relationship to start with. The ending is pretty sweet two, between both of them. Just kind of unfocused. 7/10 ******* Peter Shelby

I must say that so far this has been my absolutely favorite episode. I was even surprised by liking it that much. It is a good show, but usually just above average. This episode was greatly done. I pretty much loved every scene of it and all actors involved were doing an absolutely perfect job.

One scene I would like to mention is when "Lieu" comes to pick up Rachel. I have laughed so much, an absolutely great idea. Rachel's face when she looks at Carl was priceless.

So was the great scene of her talking to Lieutenant after the date. And the beautiful duet about break ups was absolutely hilarious. As were the final words of the episode.

Breaking up is hard to do

Where else can you see and hear Jaleel White and Barry Jenner singing a classic Neil Sedaka song? It's great because the song really doesn't fit the situation. Steve and Lt. Murtaugh find common ground after being rejected by, respectively, Laura and Rachel. I'm quite partial to Steve-Laura themes. The duet between Steve and Murtaugh is one of the greatest scenes that was not directly between Steve and Laura. The only problem is that I can't get the song out of my head, now!

Just okay. There was a bit too many awkward moments here to let me fully enjoy the humor of the situation. They pushed the same punchline a few too many times, I think.
