The first episode of this three part story ended with an attempt on Crichton's life; as this episode opens rescue comes from an unexpected quarter; Jenavian, fiancée to the devious Clavor. It turns out that she is in fact a Peacekeeper agent and believes that Crichton is one as well. It isn't long before a second attempt is made on his life; he and Katralla are attacked by a Scarran weapon that releases a gas; they only survive because Katralla's servant ro-NA enters the room and shows them a way out. In order to keep Crichton hidden he is transferred to ro-NA's ship; not knowing that she is being paid by Scorpius to hand Crichton over! He manages to escape but he still has to face the wedding and being turned into a statue! While all this is going on things aren't going well on Moya either; her creators are not impressed with the fact that she gave birth to a gunship and order her to shut down all her systems; something that will kill both her and Pilot.

Frequently the second part of a story is the weakest but here the tension is kept high with ongoing attempts on Crichton's life and the threat to Moya. With all the drama it might be a surprise that there where some hilarious moments too; best ones being when Crichton challenged Scorpius' underling Lt. Braca to kill him and D'Argo's final words before John was turned into a statue were priceless. The ending; with John a statue and Moya dying provided a good cliff-hanger which left me looking forward to the concluding part of the story.
