Part one of this two part story ended with Crichton being "pushed to his death"... it won't surprise anybody to learn that he didn't die; instead he was rescued by Oo Nii; or as Crichton calls him 'The Creature from the Black Lagoon'. He is soon reunited with D'Argo and Sizoku who tell him that they have a plan to escape but they can't tell him everything as his part of the plan involves 'taking one for the team' with Grayza and her way with men means he could accidentally tell her what is going on. It turns out that the plan involves getting Elack, the dying Leviathan, to break orbit and crash down onto the Peacekeeper Marauders. Crichton manages to get the better of Grayza but it looks as if all their plans may have been in vain when Sizoku goes to Braca to inform him what is going on... is she betraying them or is this all part of the plan?
This was a good conclusion to the two part story where once again there was no sign of Aeryn. There was a good amount of action including a spectacular scene where Elack crashes onto the planet and destroys most of the Peacekeeper ships. I liked how the colour was slowly leached from everything as the episode progressed due to the effects of the magnetic; this happened so gradually one might not have noticed it if Jool hadn't commented on it. As always the acting was solid; I particularly enjoyed Raelee Hill's performance as the possibly duplicitous Sizoku and Rebecca Riggs' performance as the highly seductive Commandant Grayza. Her treatment of Scorpius suggests that he could be dead but somehow I wouldn't be surprised if we see him again. This looks as though it was Jool's last episode as she opted to stay on the planet when the others departed; when she first joined the crew I wasn't so keen on her character but grew to like her as time past.
